This courthouse is the largest in the county. The court handles criminal, traffic, and family law cases.
Misdemeanors are handled in departments S-1, S-2, S-4, S-6, S-7, S-9 and S-14. Departments S-1 and S-2 also handle traffic cases. Felony cases are handled by departments S-21 through S-27. The presiding judge at this San Bernardino court is Judge Annemarie Pace.
You must appear in court to plead not guilty on a traffic matter or have your Wallin & Klarich criminal defense attorney appear on your behalf. In misdemeanor cases, your attorney can appear for you in court. However, you must be present if the case involves domestic violence or a third DUI. You also must be present in all felony cases. If you are required to appear in court, you must arrive by 8:30 a.m. If you do not arrive on time, a warrant will be issued for your arrest.
Programs and Jails in San Bernardino County
If you are convicted of a DUI in San Bernardino, you will be required to complete a three or nine-month program. If it is your second or third DUI conviction, you must attend an 18-month program. A list of the approved San Bernardino DUI programs and their locations can be found here.
