Vandalism and Possession of an Explosive Device

"I, G. S. was charged with Vandalism and Possession of an Explosive Device. Prior to committing to this offense I applied to enter the Navy Fireman Program. These alleged charges would have complicated my entrance to the program and the opportunity to join the Navy would have been denied. Hiring Wallin & Klarich was the best decision I made. Wallin & Klarich arranged for me to do community service and then have the charges dismissed making it possible for me to join the Navy."

Criminal

I, J. S., was arrested for accessory after violation of penal code Section 32, a felony of section 215 and 211 of the penal code.

During the course of my case, my attorney Jill Cristich was always on time, worked hard, very understanding and felt more like a friend rather than someone I just met on the street, and she always kept me updated and returned all of my phone calls promptly.

Jill dismissed all the charges against me by playing hard ball with the detective and the district attorney. I was satisfied by the services and would recommend Wallin & Klarich to my friends and family.

Terrorist Threat

I was being accused of a misdemeanor criminal threat charge out of Corona court. I hired Wallin & Klarich to represent me in this matter. My Wallin & Klarich attorney who was assigned to me was very familiar with the local court. My attorney was able to show the district attorney the weaknesses in his case and the fact that there were never criminal threats made. My attorney was able to get the district attorney to dismiss the misdemeanor charges and reduce it to a charge of disturbing the peace as an infraction, which is equivalent to a speeding ticket. If you ever need an attorney, I would highly recommend Wallin & Klarich as they are well known in their local courts.

I was charged with felony Criminal Terrorist Threats under Penal Code Section 422; this charge carried a maximum of 3 years in state prison; however, I also had a prior strike offense of residential burglary which doubled my exposure to 6 years. In addition, I had been to state prison on three prior occasions the last one being for 5 years in duration. Each state prison prior increased my sentence by one year. As a result my total sentence exposure was 9 years. Then, on top of all that, I had been caught with illegal narcotics in my first year out of prison which caused me to be placed in a court ordered drug program.

My family knew that I needed help, so they hired the law offices of Wallin & Klarich to represent me. Wallin & Klarich is a unique criminal defense firm in that they have attorneys who only appear in certain courts; that way the attorney becomes familiar with the District Attorneys and the Judges in that court house.

As a result I had the attorney most familiar with my court. In the very first negotiation session with the District Attorney and the Judge, he was able to convince the Judge to reduce the felony terrorist threats to a misdemeanor. By doing this, he removed the effect of my prior strike offense and my prior prison enhancements. In the end the Judge sentenced me to 20 days of jail CREDIT TIME SERVED and anger management classes.

I truly believe the familiarity my Wallin & Klarich attorney had with my court and the personnel who work there made all the difference in my case and I would enthusiastically recommend them for all criminal matters.
