As reported by Vik Jolly and Larry Welburn of the OC Register, in Santa Ana a Chino Hills man, Robert Charles Serrano, was sentenced to 31 years in prison for vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, killing an 18-year old woman sitting in another car as a passenger.

Corban White, the victim died from massive injuries at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana the day after Serrano crashed his vehicle into the automobile in which she was a passenger.  The collision caused the vehicles to hit other vehicles in the intersection.

Serrano fled after the collision, leaving a passenger who was injured in his vehicle, according to prosecutors.
