Anaheim Man Shot and Killed, Gang Unit Investigating the Crime

An Anaheim man was shot and killed late Wednesday night at an apartment complex, and now the gang unit has gotten involved in the investigation. This marks the fifth homicide in Anaheim so far this year.

In this case, the details are still very murky. Police have yet to identify the victim or even release his age. What we do know is that police responded to multiple calls regarding shots fired.

When they arrived on the scene, they discovered a man on the walkway of an apartment complex suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was rushed to an area hospital but pronounced dead a short time later.

Police have already interviewed several witnesses, but at this time the shooter or shooters are still at large. Anyone with any information regarding the case is encouraged to come forward at this time.
