Certificate of Rehabilitation/Pardon Cases

"I had multiple encounters with law enforcement during my late teen and early adult years. At the time I was young and the county was going through major social and cultural changes. I had a lack of direction and turned to a life of drugs. By age 25, after being in and out of prison, I completely disassociated myself from the drug lifestyle and have never looked back. My convictions occurred more than 35 years ago, but unfortunately, still have an impact on my present occupational endeavors.

I had an excellent job opportunity that required I obtain a hazardous material license. I knew I would never qualify with my prior convictions. I hired the law firm of Wallin & Klarich to expunge my previous records and to file two Certificates of Rehabilitations for my felony drug convictions. They walked me through the entire process and after much preliminary effort, the Certificate of Rehabilitation was granted almost instantaneously. Additionally, my cases have been sent to the Governor for consideration for a full-blown pardon! The Certificate of Rehabilitation has greatly enhanced my job opportunities and I appreciate the hard work that the legal experts at Wallin & Klarich provided."

"I plead guilty to sexual offense with my daughter in the 1980's and was jailed with probation and told to register as a sex offender. For nearly 20 years I have registered as a sex offender and I never committed another crime. I hired the law firm of Wallin & Klarich to represent me so that I can be categorized as a person who is rehabilitated from his crime and later possible not have to register as a sex offender. My attorney and I had met and discussed the case several times and finally the petition was granted by the Supreme Court. Because I am deemed rehabilitated, the certificate now automatically becomes an application for a Pardon with the Governor. Thanks to Wallin & Klarich I feel better knowing that my horrendous mistake of judgement will not remain with me forever."

"I was convicted of two criminal charges concerning Transportation, Possession and Sale of an illegal narcotic under the health and Safety Code over 20 years ago; I ended up serving about 1 year in the local jail for my offenses. Subsequent to that conviction and the time I served I went to another state where I picked up more felony convictions and served time. My criminal acts were directly related to my drug addiction. I finally beat my drug addiction about 10 years ago and have been trying to turn my life around ever since.

One of the problems I discovered was that my felony conviction hurt my ability to be employed and certified in my particular field. As suck, I hired the law firm of Wallin & Klarich to represent me in an effort to clear up my record. I met with the Wallin & Klarich attorney most experience in these matters and he informed me that the first step toward clearing my record is an Expungement, followed by a Certificate of Rehabilitation. He told me that once a Certificate of Rehabilitation is granted then this constitutes an automatic application for a Pardon from the Governor. Once a pardon is granted that is the most I can do to clear my record. My Wallin & Klarich attorney then proceeded to prepare my case by getting a psychological evaluation of me, letters of recommendation and other evidence of my rehabilitation. He then filed a formal motion with the court and the District Attorney which i the end was GRANTED by the court.

The granting of this motion facilitates my ability to continue in my field and is the final step prior to a full pardon. I truly benefited from the legal knowledge and experience of my Wallin & Klarich attorney and I would recommend them for any criminal matter."
