A Fontana man was arrested this week for allegedly killing his own dog. He allegedly got upset with the dog after it had urinated on his floor. The man then allegedly kicked the dog onto a concrete slab where it died. The dog, a Yorkie named Woody, is reported to have flown about 15 feet in the air. It reportedly did not move after striking the concrete.
There were reportedly several witnesses to the incident, including several young children. The Fontana Police Department and the San Bernardino County District’s Attorney’s office are taking the case very serious. As such, the man should be facing felony animal cruelty charges in San Bernardino County Superior Court.
